The “Tribal Engineers’ Society, Tripura” in support of “Oil & Natural Gas Corporation Limited” is being set up a Model Village project at Korbongkami under  Champabari VC, Belbari Block, West Tripura District. 

As a part of the component of that Model village a Mega Health Camp cum Awareness camp on the topic of Health and Drinking water including distribution of Mosquito Nets & Educational valued materials etc. was organized on 22nd January, 2017 at Korbongpara JB School under Champabari VC, Belbari Block, West Tripura District.

The following specialist Doctors have attended in this camp:-

• 1. Dr. Prasun Bhattacharjee, (MEDICINE ), AGMC & GBP Hospital,
• 2. Dr. Sarmistha Chakraborty MD, Gynecology, AGMC & GBP Hospital,
• 3. Dr. Swapan Debbarma, (Dental Surgeon), AGMC & GBP Hospital.

About 200 patients were treated and adequate free medicines were also distributed through Sri Atul Debbarma, Pharmacist, CMO (West).    

In total 40 Nos. Mosquito Nets were distributed to each of the families of Korbongpara & Educational valued materials like School text Books, Note Books, Pens etc. were also distributed to all the students of Korbongpara.

Mrs. Sabitri Debbarma, Chairperson, Champabari ADC Village, Er. J. Debbarma, Secretary, TEST, Er. Amulya Jamatia, President, TEST, Mr. Saket Gupta, In-Charge CSR, ONGC, Er. Sajal Debbarma, Secretary, AI SC/ST EWA, ONGC, Mr. PK Agarwal, DGM, ONGC etc. were present as dignitaries in this camp. Besides Er. Ajit Kr. Debbarma, Er. Sashi Lal Noatia, Executive Member, Er. Manjib Kr. Debbarma, Secretary, West District Committee, Er. Ritesh Debbarma, District Member, Er. Chameli Debbarma, Er. Chuni Debbarma, Er. Ramen Debbarma, Er. Abhijit Debbarma were also participated in this camp on behalf of TEST. The Project Monitoring Committee of ONGC- Model Village has also inspected the ongoing progress of Model Village.
